Certain insurance, for example the First Aider and Trainer Individual insurance policies are exclusively available from us and our associated sites. We are an Appointed Representative of Balens Insurance Brokers which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

First Aid Café is UK 's largest independent community of first aiders and first aid trainers. Started as a website; www.FirstAidCafe.co.uk it has grown to a membership of over 6,500 members.

Who are the Association of First Aiders?

The Association of First Aiders (AoFA), formed in 2004 is UK 's largest association representing first aiders and first aid trainers. The AoFA originated from the membership base of the FirstAidCafe and close ties remain between both communities. For more details visit www.AoFA.org.

Who are Balens?

Balens are the designers of this scheme and the insurance brokers for this policy. Balens, established in 1950 are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority for General business and H & L Balen are also authorised and registered under the Financial Services Authority for Financial Services business and are required to follow high standards of professional conduct and the legislation we are under requires stringent financial checks and controls on an annual basis. Balens main clientele and business revolves around Health Professionals including Auxiliary or Complementary Medical Practitioners and their Associations.
